Academic research
The EM Strasbourg Business School's core business is the dissemination of management knowledge, know-how and skills. This is transmitted via different, increasingly diverse channels, at the forefront of which is the education provided by expert faculty staff. To achieve optimal quality, in keeping with international standards, EM Strasbourg Business School backs the transmission of this knowledge to Research in management Sciences, through the three following objectives:
- Produce a state-of-the-art, and original knowledge, recognised in major domains for the training of the School's full-time and continuing education students,
- Anticipate the major trends affecting businesses and organisations, within a constantly evolving environment, to provide managers and future managers with the tools and methods required for strategic steering,
- Help businesses and organisations decipher their policies and practices, with a view to detecting and promoting "best practices" that are crucial for managerial turnover.
Teacher-researchers are welcomed within two research laboratories attached to the EM Strasbourg Business School: HuManis and LaRGE.

This laboratory, run by Professor Thierry Nobre, plays host to researchers whose ambition is to train managers "in a different way", i.e. go beyond simply transmitting management engineering knowledge and skills. - Public and Hospital Management and Performance
- Diversity Management and Corporate Social Responsibility
- Individuals, Strategy and Organisations (ISO)
- Marketing and Information and Communication Technologies (MICT)

The team includes faculty members completing research activities in management sciences and economics, working on 4 priority research areas:
- Economy and Banking Finance
